“Equus”
“Equus” is inspired from Greek white marble friezes. This newly created, “ancient artifact” was sculpted in clay and cast in raw concrete stone. The concrete is then hand painted with an ebony penetrating stain resulting in an almost coal black finish. Next, steel wool is used to bring out the exquisite detail, chisel marks, and the rock texture. Finally, a coat of wax finishes the patina and provides a durable finish.
